Scuba Diving in the Whitsundays

For those fortunate enough to be embarking on an overnight sailing trip in the Whitsundays, there is also the opportunity of a lifetime to scuba dive within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
Notorious for its friendly green sea turtles, flashing fusiliers, enormous Maori Wrasse and colourful fringing reefs, the Whitsundays and the Outer Great Barrier Reef offer a number of amazing snorkel and dive locations.
Catering for both introductory and certified divers, the Whitsundays are the ultimate place to experience your first scuba dive or a number of deeper dives for the more-seasoned scuba-enthusiasts. The fringing reefs provide the ideal place for first-time or inexperienced divers to practice their skills, while also being able to cater for certified divers with its amazing marine life and stunning coral seascapes.
Many overnight boats are able to offer dives for both introductory and certified divers (you must bring your card) and is subject to age, conditions and a medical questionnaire.
Costs include all gear and instruction as well as your instructor and must be booked in advance with your boat trip.
